What you need to know

Before You Visit

Should you have any questions regarding your pet’s appointment please feel free to contact our Behavior team at info@animalbehaviormi.com. We look forward to meeting you!

  • If your pet would be more comfortable waiting in the car, please let our front desk know what kind of car you will be in, the Behavior team will come and get you when your room is ready. There is also a side entrance then can be used for your convenience.
  • If there are multiple pets involved in the current behavior problem, we highly recommend bringing all the pets with you if safely possible.
  • The behavior team highly recommends bringing or sending along a video or any other information that may be helpful that you normally see at home that might not be repeatable during your consultation.
  • Please bring your dogs favorite toy or food. We may use them during the appointment.
  • Please be sure to email for fax over any pertinent information including the, x rays, blood tests in the last 6 months, diet or medications that your pet may have. Please, remember that the information your veterinarian provides to us prior to your appointment can often help us help you and your pet.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes in advance of your appointment to complete documents for your pet’s medical record.
  • Your pet does not need to be fasted prior to this appointment unless otherwise specified by the behavior team.
  • Please bring all your pets current medications with you.
